Madsen

I came upon Madsen when I had to do a song project for my german class. We had to pick a song and translate it into english. They have a couple of good songs but "Du Schreibst Geschichte" which means "you write history," is thier best. Even though my german is shaky at best, I looove this song. When no one's looking, I rock out to it.

Here's the english translation:

Because the world turns so fast
Because the time passes so fast
You come not afterwards
Because the hecticness does not put
You in the mass under go
You are a drop in the sea.

But you live longer than a life long
You are with which all this began.

Because you write history
With each step, with each word continues you it
You write history on each day
Because you are some of it now and here

Because a monster before you stands
Sees threatening to you into the eyes
You are rather quiet
Because everyone you told who you are and which is missing to you
Forgets you which you to say want

But you live longer than a life long
You are with which all this began

Because you write history
With each step, with each word continues you it
You write history on each day
Because you are some of it now and here

Because you live only once
You want which moved before you go yourself
Before you go

You live longer than a life long
You are with which all this began

Because you write history
With each step
With each word continues you it
You write history on each day
Because you are some of it now and here.
